About Susan Chepelsky

Susan is the owner of Sue Studios Holistic Web Design, established in 2002. Sue Studios specializes in web design for the holistic industry. Susan creates professional, eye-catching websites for her clients that reflect their spirit, vision and image. Susan's approach is holistic: uniting the body, mind and spirit.

Susan brings with her a wealth of education, experience and skills from the high tech industry. She has a diploma in web design and a degree in arts with a major in commerce.

Susan's interest in computers in the work environment began at the University of Toronto where she assisted the university in converting Hart House's manual purchasing system into a computerized one. She worked for a major computer distributor, marketing such lines as IBM and Novell. Susan was brought in to a dot.com company to develop and implement the "business to business" services tab of its website.

Over the years, Susan has developed many of the skills required for running a business: management, marketing, sales, supervision, negotiating, training, communicating, accounting and administration.

Susan has an incredibly strong passion for alternative medicine and the holistic industry as a whole. As a Herbalife Distributor and Supervisor, she has learned that healing the body does not necessarily require medication and antibiotics - it can be done naturally! Susan has explored other forms of healing and energizing the body, such as reflexology, massage, shamanic teaching, drumming, chiropractic and Tai Chi. Susan has also achieved her second level of Reiki. As healing the body is only part of it, Susan has explored ways to heal the spirit including meditation, drumming, healing circles and painting with pastels.

What Susan Believes

• Susan believes we are beings of light and energy, living the human experience … part of this world, and not part of this world.

• Susan believes in the interconnectedness of the universe. There is a reciprocal sharing of energy, as nature lifts, renews and rekindles her body, her mind, her spirit.

• Susan is a seeker of knowledge, driven by curiosity, with an open desire to understand and reveal the mysteries of life.

• Susan believes in the god within her and present in the world around her by listening and following her intuition. Susan is empowered when truths and insights are revealed from the infinite wisdom within. Susan believes that she has all the resources within herself to be what she wants to be, experience what she wants to experience and create her own reality.

• Susan believes we are all unqiue and each of us possesses infinite gifts.

• Susan believes in unconditional love, mutual respect and understanding by sharing, connecting, rejoicing, laughing and being with another. She believes that by empowering others she empowers herself, by enriching others enriches herself.

The Birth of The Universal Healing Network

Through her networking within the holistic industry, Susan discovered a need for, and a desire within the industry to form the Universal Healing Network. She found that people within the industry were fragmented, unaware of other events and activities, like-minded individuals or groups, sources of supplies within their area or further abroad. In her travels, Susan has connected suppliers of holistic products and/or services with anyone she meets. Creating the directory is a way for all within the industry, as well as the general public, to find new sources from one central location.

Vision

Susan's vision is to make the Universal Healing Network broader, encompassing not just the lower mainland, but all of BC and beyond to our global community.
